This project consisted of the construction of a new extension to the school and internal remodelling to create a new reception area with adjoining classrooms through a design & build contract. The works involved piled foundations with a ring beam footing, the external wall construction was a masonry cavity wall with part brick and part render. New automated aluminium doors were installed as well as a new single ply membrane roof. A complete internal refurbishment was undertaken which consisted of new doors, floor coverings, ceilings and a full D&B mechanical and electrical system. Externally, a new entrance footpath was created into the school, as well as a road closure for an upgrade to the school existing power.
